2 Free Games from Epic Games Store
Epic Games Store offering two new free games for their users until May 15.
New Free Games from Epic Games Store
The current Epic Games Store free game is Super Space Club. A lo-fi arcade space shooter, Super Space Club was first released in 2023 and has earned a “Positive” overall review rating on Steam. Epic Games Store users interested in checking it have until Thursday, May 8 at 10am CT. At that point, Super Space Club will be cycled out of the Epic Games Store free games lineup and replaced with two new freebies.
From May 8 to May 15, Epic Games Store users will be able to claim Deadtime Defenders and Touch Type Tale for their digital libraries. Deadtime Defenders is a single-player side-scrolling looter-shooter with RPG elements and customization thrown in the mix for good measure. Similar to Super Space Club, Deadtime Defenders has a “Positive” overall rating. Touch Type Tale, meanwhile, is described as a “strategic typing” with a single-player mode and online PvP. Touch Type Tale was first released in 2024 and has earned “Very Positive” reviews. Based on the reception the games have enjoyed, it seems as though next week will be a fairly solid one for the Epic Games Store.
While the Epic Games Store’s main focus remains on PC, it’s worth pointing out that the digital storefront has expanded to the mobile arena as well. Epic Games Store gives away free mobile games every week alongside its PC offerings. This time around, mobile gamers can claim the mobile version of Super Space Club. Like the PC version, Super Space Club will be free to Epic Games Store mobile users until May 8. It’s possible next week’s freebies will be the same on PC and mobile, but there’s also a chance the free mobile game offerings will be unique, so fans will have to stay tuned and see what happens.
