Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Announced
Known for its remarkable horror experience on VR platforms, Alien: Rogue Incursion is now coming to PlayStation 5 and PC under the name “Evolved Edition”. The game’s developer, Survios, announced the release date as September 30. This version, which focuses on Zula Hendricks’ dangerous journey, aims to present the classic Alien atmosphere from a different perspective.
What Does Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Offer?
The new version appeals to a wider audience without being exclusive to virtual reality users. The game is about a dangerous mission by a former Colonial Union soldier named Zula Hendricks to uncover Weyland-Yutani’s dark experiments. The story, which begins with a call for help from an old mining colony on the planet Purdan, turns into a nightmare that deepens into the Gemini Exoplanet Solutions facility.
Familiar enemies from the Alien universe are also present in this version. Xenomorphs crawl on walls and ceilings, move silently through ventilation tunnels, and attack at unexpected moments, just like in the movies. Players must balance stealth and heavy weapons to deal with these threats. Limited ammunition makes exploration and resource gathering critical to survival.
Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved is the first part of a “two-part” story. Set on the planet LV-354, this part has a standalone narrative, but it has an ending that opens the door to the second part. Zula’s journey doesn’t end here; more difficult decisions and new enemies await her.
The standard edition will be sold for $29.99, while the $39.99 Deluxe Edition also includes a digital art book and special armor/weapon skins. According to developer Survios, this version is full of expanded and reshaped content that will appeal to anyone who loves the Alien universe.
