According to social media sources, Marvel will re-engage the promotional tactics it used for Endgame for Doomsday. Instead of lengthy trailers, the film will be released with short, engaging teasers. The goal is to raise audience expectations while keeping the film’s surprises hidden. Light shows and promotional posters displayed at special events in China are also considered part of this strategy.
Avengers: Doomsday is already a massive production with its cast. Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Pedro Pascal (Reed Richards), Vanessa Kirby (Sue Storm), Anthony Mackie (Captain America), Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes), Letitia Wright (Shuri), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), and Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool) are all attached to the film.
The cast isn’t limited to that. Stars like Wyatt Russell, Tenoch Huerta, Simu Liu, Florence Pugh, Kelsey Grammer, Joseph Quinn, and Tom Hiddleston are also returning. Legendary actors like X-Men characters Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, and James Marsden have also been confirmed to appear.
With Doomsday, Marvel aims to deliver not just one film, but one of the most important cornerstones of the Phase 6 era. The film, set for release on December 18, 2026, will also pave the way for Secret Wars, which arrives in 2027. These two films seem to open the doors to a new era in the Marvel universe.
