Black Ops 7 May Release Early
Call of Duty fans are excited by a new rumor about this year’s eagerly awaited release of Black Ops 7. Originally scheduled for release on November 14, 2025, the game could reportedly launch in early access on November 7. Activision has yet to make a statement on the matter, but the community is actively discussing the possibility.
Black Ops 7 Early Access Rumors Grow Strong
Prominent content creators and data miners in the gaming world have begun suggesting on social media that Black Ops 7 could launch a week earlier than planned. The initial claim began to spread through several Twitter posts and quickly became a trending topic on Reddit. Sources indicate that this date may have been chosen specifically to provide early access to the game’s story mode.
The series has followed a similar strategy in the past. Modern Warfare 3’s campaign mode was released a full week before the multiplayer release. Activision aimed to allow players to complete the story and move directly to the online modes. A similar approach may be on the agenda for Black Ops 7.
Meanwhile, Activision remains silent on the rumors. The company hasn’t announced any date changes through its official channels. However, this hasn’t stopped the rumors from spreading. The community believes the studio may make minor adjustments to its plans, especially since the cheating issues that have plagued the game’s beta phase in recent weeks have been quickly resolved.
Meanwhile, Sledgehammer Games co-founder Glen Schofield recently stated that the Call of Duty series has “departed from its old quality standards.” Schofield’s comment was met with mixed reactions among fans, with some arguing that newer games have become too live-service-focused.
