Black Ops 7 PC System Requirements Announced

As the countdown continues for Black Ops 7, PC gamers have received critical information. With the game’s system requirements officially announced shortly before release, Activision has shared both the minimum hardware requirements and the specifications required for top-tier performance. Security requirements, in particular, have already garnered attention.

As Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 prepares for its November 14th release, Activision has officially released its PC requirements list. One of the most important details is the requirement for TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot to run the game. While this is commonplace on Windows 11, it may mean fiddling with BIOS settings for some users.

Activision also announced that Black Ops 7 will also run on Windows-based portable PCs. Devices like Steam Decks will offer optimized visuals, sharper text, and battery-saving modes. This means you can take the game with you, but performance may vary depending on your device.

Three separate profiles have been shared for desktop PC users: minimum, recommended, and competitive/4K. It’s worth noting that the game itself requires 116GB of SSD space; Warzone will require more space. It’s also clear that players aiming for widescreen and high FPS will need a powerful graphics card.

Black Ops 7 will be available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation on the same day. Those who see the system list are already checking out the hardware; security requirements, in particular, could be controversial. But it seems Activision is prioritizing performance and technical security this time around.
