Black Screen Fix On The Way For NVIDIA RTX 50 Users

NVIDIA RTX 50 series graphics card users have recently been experiencing a black screen issue. NVIDIA announced that it is working on a driver update to fix this issue. Based on feedback from users, the update, which is planned to be released this week, is expected to fix the issue. The black screen problem is particularly associated with PCIe signaling and driver incompatibilities.

Details of the NVIDIA RTX 50 Black Screen Issue

Black screen issues in the RTX 50 series particularly affect high-end models such as the RTX 5090. Some users reported that a new BIOS update released for the MSI Gaming Trio RTX 5090 has fixed the issue. However, NVIDIA stated that this BIOS update is not available to all users and that the problem may be related not only to hardware but also to drivers and PCIe connection.

NVIDIA recommends that users install the latest software provided by graphics card manufacturers (AIB) if they continue to experience problems. It is also stated that switching to PCIe 4.0, a more established standard than PCIe 5.0, may provide a temporary solution in some cases.

NVIDIA announced that it will release a driver update for the black screen issue this week. This update is aimed to completely eliminate the black screen problem. However, users are also advised to check their BIOS and firmware versions before the update.

Although the RTX 50 series attracts attention with its strong performance, such technical issues can negatively affect the user experience. NVIDIA’s solution to this problem with the driver update may be a step that will allow users to get full performance from the cards. NVIDIA is expected to make a more detailed statement after the update is released.
