Bloober Team Will Make New Collaborations with Konami

The countdown continues for Silent Hill 2 Remake, Konami’s remake of the legendary horror franchise. But this project is not the end of the collaboration between Konami and Bloober Team. Piotr Babieno, CEO of Bloober Team, revealed that Silent Hill 2 Remake is just the beginning and that more projects are on the way with Konami in the future. This signals a collaboration that could encompass not only the Silent Hill series, but perhaps Konami’s other popular franchises as well.

Konami and Bloober Team Deepen Collaboration

The Silent Hill 2 Remake project is just part of Konami’s plan to make a big comeback. Babieno stated that Konami is extremely pleased with the Silent Hill 2 remake and that the collaboration could continue in the future. However, fans are also eagerly awaiting projects such as Silent Hill f and Silent Hill: Townhall, due out later this year. Although Bloober Team is not involved in these projects, it is clear that Konami has big plans for the world of horror.

The highly anticipated Silent Hill 2 Remake is coming to PlayStation 5 and PC on October 8th. After a one-year exclusive period for PlayStation 5, the game is also expected to come to Xbox platforms, but this has not yet been officially announced. Expected to be one of the most ambitious games of the year, Silent Hill 2 Remake could set the next-gen standard for the horror genre.
