Black Ops 6 Becomes One of the Biggest Games of 2024 with Player Count

As we already know, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 stood out as one of the biggest video game releases this year. But now the game’s status has reached new heights. In addition to being the biggest launch in the series, Black Ops 6 has reached the highest number of players, hours played and matches played compared to any other Call of Duty game.

It’s worth noting that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was added to Xbox Game Pass on the day of its release in October 2024. It is assumed that a significant portion of the game’s players gained free access to the game. Therefore, it is thought that Xbox Game Pass also played an important role in the overwhelming success of Black Ops 6.

While Black Ops 6 has been mostly well received, things are not looking so good on the r/blackops6 subreddit. Fans have criticized many small details, such as the Operator skins not being of the expected quality and the Winner’s Circle being described as a cringe-fest.

But for those of us who play Call of Duty games from time to time, Black Ops 6 is the most fun multiplayer shooter I’ve played in years. The campaign system doesn’t leave much to be desired either. Of course, some of the criticisms are true, such as the maps being a bit low quality, but in the end, the pros far outweigh the cons.
