Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Announced

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, which has been rumored for a long time, was officially introduced during Xbox Games Showcase 2025. The game, which takes place in 2035, takes the series back to the near future. Elements such as the jetpack movement system, wall-running mechanics and robotic enemies await players in this new game.

Back to the Future Begins with Black Ops 7

The new Black Ops game takes the series back to the near future after almost a decade. Players take control of a soldier equipped with advanced movement abilities and participate in action-packed conflicts. The game follows the story of the previous games of the series, Black Ops 2 and Black Ops 6, and focuses on the psychological warfare that has thrown the world into chaos.

Developed by Treyarch and Raven Software, the game offers two Black Ops games back-to-back for the first time in Call of Duty history. This time, the leading character is David Mason, known from Black Ops 2. In the new scenario mode, the Black Ops team fights against an enemy that uses fear as a weapon and progresses in a dark future.

Black Ops 7 draws attention not only with its story mode, but also with its multiplayer and zombie modes. With renewed maps, advanced weapon systems, and a new section of the Round-Based Zombies mode set in the Dark Aether universe, the game aims to offer a very comprehensive experience. It has also been confirmed that the game will be released for older generation consoles.
