Call of Duty May Come to Switch 2

Despite past statements, the Call of Duty brand’s arrival on Nintendo platforms has always remained uncertain. However, according to new information, Call of Duty may be coming to Switch 2 and this may become official soon. Following Black Ops 7, which was introduced during the Xbox Games Showcase, there is intense activity behind the scenes that the game is also planned for Switch 2.

Nintendo and Microsoft Take Action for Call of Duty

In 2022, Microsoft made a commitment to bring the Call of Duty series to Nintendo platforms during the acquisition of Activision Blizzard. While there has been no concrete development since then, according to Kotaku writer Ethan Gach, the two companies are still actively working on this issue and an announcement may come soon.

According to Gach’s report, Microsoft and Nintendo are still working on plans to bring Call of Duty to Switch 2, and the parties are still discussing the technical details. Following these developments, eyes have turned to whether major titles like Black Ops 7 or Warzone will be on Switch 2.

Although it is not yet clear, Call of Duty’s arrival on the Nintendo platform seems to further expand the series’ reach. This may become clear with official statements to be made soon.
