With the recent released success of Silent Hill 2 Remake, Bloober Team has proved their capability with survival horror games. After the release of Silent Hill 2 Remake, Bloober Team is back with their brand new IP.
Bloober Team has released an official cinematic trailer revealing its next major project, Cronos The New Dawn. Described as “a twisted time travel story,” Cronos: The New Dawn will transport players to a brutalist retro-future Eastern Europe where they will enter “deep into the heart of a deadly struggle.” Players must take on the role of a Traveler working for the Collective and will need to face off against overwhelming foes and unravel a gripping mystery while walking a fine line between the past and the future. Time rifts, ravaged wastelands, and an ensuing apocalypse will all provide an imposing challenge that players will need to counter with quick strategy and a powerful arsenal. While some may be keen to keep an eye on potential Bloober Team collaborations, this original concept from the studio looks to satisfy horror fans’ craving for even more thrilling survival horror titles.
Featuring third person survival horror gameplay similar to titles like Silent Hill 2, Resident Evil, and Dead Space, Cronos: The New Dawn is set to launch for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in 2025.
