Dying Light: The Beast Release Date and Price Announced
Dying Light, one of the most beloved zombie-themed open-world game series, returns this year with The Beast. Players will try to survive on a vast, dangerous map with a much-improved version of familiar parkour mechanics. This game, which will offer both nostalgic and brand new experiences for series fans, has already become a hit with its atmospheric and innovative gameplay.
What Awaits Dying Light: The Beast Players?
With The Beast, Techland aims to make a significant leap forward not only in terms of visuals but also in terms of gameplay. The parkour system is more fluid, the combat mechanics are deeper, and the exploration elements are more diverse than ever. Furthermore, the level of interaction with the environment has been increased, creating a game world where players can unleash their creativity. Unexpected dangers will challenge players around every corner, both during daytime and at night.
While the game offers a story independent of the second installment in the series, Stay Human, it remains grounded in the universe of the previous games. The return of Kyle Crane, a series icon since the first installment, is generating additional excitement for longtime players. The Beast was initially conceived as an expansion for Dying Light 2, but its scope grew so large that it was decided to release it as a standalone title.
According to the official announcement, The Beast will launch on September 19th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. While the game was originally scheduled for August 22nd, Techland has decided to delay it slightly for finishing touches. The Standard Edition will be priced at $59.99/£59.99, while the Deluxe Edition will be priced at $69.99/£69.99. Unfortunately, early access is not available for these editions.
In the new game, your decisions will determine the course of the story. Each choice will have different consequences, making each player’s experience unique. With more advanced visuals, revamped zombie AI, and dynamics where the player can use the environment to their advantage, The Beast aims to offer a survival experience that requires not only action but also tactical thinking.
