The countdown has begun for a new multiplayer experience set in the Control universe. FBC: Firebreak Technical Test Begins May 15
FBC: Firebreak’s closed test period will begin at 16:00 on Thursday, May 15, and will end at 00:00 on Monday, May 19. During this process, players will have the opportunity to test the three-person PvE-focused action experience set in familiar locations from the Control universe at an early stage. Remedy plans to shape the final version of the game with feedback from players.
Those who want to participate in the test version can register via Remedy’s official website. The game is scheduled to be released with its full version on June 17. Firebreak will be available for both PC and console users, and will also be included in Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus Extra/Premium subscriptions.
The game’s development team believes that Firebreak will find a unique place in the current PvE market. “We clearly defined our target audience when creating this game. We based every decision on creating an easily accessible structure based on short sessions that would not burden players,” said Remedy executive Thomas Puha. When the full version of Firebreak is released, it will be on sale for £33 / $40 / €40. This week is of great importance for players who want to experience the game early by participating in the test process.
