Final Trailer Released for F1 Movie

Racing enthusiasts are expecting an exciting story on the big screen this summer. The new F1 movie has already managed to arouse curiosity with the names behind it and the shooting style. The production, starring Brad Pitt, seems to be a candidate to be one of the most ambitious examples of its kind with scenes shot on real Grand Prix weekends.

F1 Movie Coming with Action Scenes Set on Real Tracks

The F1 movie, signed by Apple Original Films, is directed by Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski. Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton, the film brings the tension and speed specific to the world of racing to the screen. Brad Pitt is accompanied by Javier Bardem, Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies and Kim Bodnia.

In the film, Pitt plays Sonny Hayes, a promising driver from the 1990s. Hayes, whose career was interrupted by a previous accident, returns to the track years later at the call of his former teammate Ruben Cervantes. Deciding to race one last time to save the struggling Formula 1 team, the character is on the same team as young driver Joshua Pearce. However, team friendship cannot surpass the competition.

The film, whose script was written by Ehren Kruger, also features notable names in the background. Director of photography Claudio Miranda, production designers Mark Tildesley and Ben Munro, editor Stephen Mirrione and composer Hans Zimmer work with Kosinski. The film aims to offer an authentic and fast-paced experience with scenes shot in real Grand Prix races.

F1 will be released in the UK on June 25 and in the US on June 27. The film, which promises a powerful story for racing fans outside the track, has already taken its place among the summer’s prominent projects.
