FromSoftware Apologizes for Elden Ring Nightreign Bugs

Elden Ring Nightreign’s network test, although exciting players, caused major problems due to server problems. FromSoftware issued an official apology message due to the connection problems users encountered and especially the density on PlayStation servers. Players stated that these problems affected the trial process due to the shortness of the test period.

Elden Ring Nightreign Server Problems and Solution Work

FromSoftware announced that the problems experienced in the Elden Ring Nightreign network test were due to server density. The company announced that maintenance work was carried out on PlayStation servers and that work continued to improve the situation. In a statement made on Twitter, players were called to be patient.

The network test consisted of a total of five sessions, each lasting only three hours, between February 14-16. This meant that players were unable to fully utilize the test period due to server issues. FromSoftware stated that they are considering holding an additional test session to compensate for this situation. Elden Ring Nightreign will be released on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on May 30, 2025. It was announced that the game will not include microtransactions, but will include a one-time DLC.

These issues during the testing process do not seem to have diminished player interest in Nightreign. FromSoftware aims to fix the issues to regain player confidence and ensure that the game is released on its planned date. FromSoftware stated that it may hold an additional test session to compensate for the disruptions experienced during the network test, as Capcom did in a similar situation. Players believe that this additional testing period will make up for the time lost due to connection issues.
