GeForce RTX 5050 and RTX 5060 Features

According to the information on the EEC lists, the GeForce RTX 5050 and RTX 5060 mark NVIDIA’s transition to the Blackwell GPU architecture. It is reported that the RTX 5060 Ti will come with 16 GB VRAM and the RTX 5060 will have 8 GB VRAM capacity. It is stated that these cards are designed for gamers looking for performance in the entry and mid-range segment.

It is also stated that the RTX 5060 series will support standard 8-pin power connectors and require a 650W PSU. This shows that the cards will be user-friendly in terms of energy consumption. However, there is no clear information about the RTX 5050 model yet.

Although the release dates of the GeForce RTX 5050 and RTX 5060 have not yet been finalized, the RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti models are expected to be introduced within two months at the latest. With this move, NVIDIA aims to gain a competitive position against Intel’s Battlemage B570 and B580 models.

NVIDIA is expected to fill the gap in the market by offering a more affordable option with its entry-level RTX 5050 card. However, the pricing and technical details of the RTX 5050 are still unclear. With NVIDIA’s transition to the new generation Blackwell GPUs, it is expected that the old generation Ada models will gradually be withdrawn from the market. This indicates that entry-level models such as the RTX 4060 may be replaced by the RTX 5050.
