Reeves explained that he struggled to maintain his identity during this period, saying, “When they called my name in auditions, I couldn’t answer. Because it wasn’t me.” He recounted that six months later, he went back to his agent and said, “I’m going to go by my real name now.” Reeves described this decision as a turning point in his life.
