Kingdom of Night Release Date Announced
Kingdom of Night, which blends an ’80s atmosphere with a dark fantasy world, has finally reached its release date. The long-developed indie action-RPG combines the fight against supernatural enemies with a retro storytelling. The fight to save Miami, Arizona begins soon. Players are now eagerly awaiting the day they can step into this ’80s nightmare.
Kingdom of Night Launches in December
Kingdom of Night will launch on Steam for PC on December 2nd. The game is announced for $19.99. Console versions will be released later; supported languages include English, Japanese, and Chinese. Developed by the indie team Black Seven Studios, the game combines a retro horror vibe with an isometric action-RPG structure.
Players will attempt to save Miami, Arizona, from an invasion of demonic forces. In this adventure, we control the main character, John, who will confront demon lords, interact with the townspeople, and explore the city freely. The game aims to deliver a narrative blended with elements of coming-of-age, cosmic horror, and romance.
Kingdom of Night offers five classes: Barbarian, Knight, Rogue, Necromancer, and Sorcerer. Each class has its own unique playstyle, and character customization is quite deep thanks to a three-branch skill tree. You earn points from the skill tree by leveling up, and you can either progress within the same branch or create combinations between classes.
The equipment system is also a key component of the game. Hidden items, quest rewards, and randomly dropped equipment come in different rarities. These items not only provide stats but also special powers. You can play the game solo or with a friend in local co-op. The idea of combining two different classes to create powerful synergies is particularly appealing to co-op enthusiasts.
A new option has emerged for indie RPG enthusiasts before the year ends. Kingdom of Night stands out with its nostalgic feel, dark atmosphere, and class structure. Those looking for a retro horror-inspired action RPG should definitely consider December.
