A statue on display at San Diego Comic-Con confirmed that Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remasters are on the way. This leak was a surprise for all of us to see the resurrection of the iconic video game series.
Legacy Of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remaster Revealed at Sculpture Exhibition
The statue on display at San Diego Comic-Con features the official branding of upcoming games. The QR code next to the statue leads to the website of Dark Horse Direct, a manufacturer of popular video game figurines and statues. Dark Horse Direct plans to release the Legacy of Kain statue in August, GameSpot reported. However, there’s no word yet on whether the remakes have been officially confirmed.
The leaks make one wonder when, not if, the remasters will be officially announced. The Legacy of Kain series was last updated in 2003 with Legacy of Kain: Defiance in 2003 and there has been no news of a new game since then. However, fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of this dark fantasy series. Apparently, this wait will end in the near future.
