Like many recent first party PlayStation titles, both Marvel’s Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales eventually made their way onto PC by way of developer Nixxes Software, which has handled similar ports of games like Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut and the upcoming Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered. Many fans figured it would only be a matter of time before Spider-Man 2 made the jump as well, especially given Sony’s track record of releasing games on PC a few years after their PlayStation launches.

Not, it’s officially confirmed that Marvel’s Spider Man 2 PC version release date confirmed as January 30, 2025, with Nixxes stepping in once again on porting duties in collaboration with Insomniac. The news broke at New York Comic Con 2024, with a brief trailer highlighting Spider Man 2’s story and gameplay. As reported in an article on PlayStation’s website, Nixxes Community Manager Julian Huijbregts expressed excitement at bringing last year’s hit to a wider audience with new features like enhanced ray-tracing options, though more details will be provided at a later date.
