Miyazaki Expected for Bloodborne Remaster

Bloodborne has been one of the most requested remasters by fans for years. However, according to former PlayStation executive Shuhei Yoshida, the reason this project has not been realized is due to FromSoftware president Hidetaka Miyazaki’s busy schedule. Yoshida stated that Miyazaki loved the game, but did not have time to take on the project at the moment and did not want anyone else to do it. PlayStation also respected this decision and decided to keep the project on hold.

Miyazaki Expected for Bloodborne Remaster

Why is Bloodborne Remaster on Hold?

Despite Bloodborne being one of FromSoftware’s most beloved productions, a remaster is needed due to its technical limitations. However, according to Yoshida, Miyazaki does not want to hand this project over to someone else. It is thought that the famous director is busy with busy projects such as the success of Elden Ring and the revival of the Armored Core series. It is also stated that Miyazaki is currently working on a new RPG project.

Yoshida stated that Bloodborne fans are still asking about this project and that there is a lot of interest. However, PlayStation waiting for Miyazaki to take the lead means that it is a process that requires patience for fans of the game. Yoshida summarized this situation by saying, “Miyazaki loves this project but he doesn’t have the time right now. He doesn’t want it to fall into someone else’s hands.”

Fans are waiting for an official remaster of Bloodborne to be released not only on PlayStation but also on the PC platform. However, no official statement has been made on this subject yet. Despite this, the game’s fan base is constantly voicing their demand for a remaster on social media and platforms.

Although uncertainties continue due to Miyazaki’s busy schedule, hopes continue that Bloodborne will one day be revived. The potential impact of this project on fans cannot be ignored for both PlayStation and FromSoftware. For now, we have to wait for this iconic game to be reborn on modern platforms.
