New Gameplay Trailer Released for Atomfall

Rebellion has shared a 13-minute gameplay trailer for its new survival action game Atomfall. Coming to Xbox Game Pass in March, the game is an open-world survival adventure set in the English countryside. Players will explore the story of a character who wakes up with amnesia after a nuclear disaster.

Atomfall: A Survival and Exploration Adventure

Inspired by true events, Atomfall takes players five years after the Windscale nuclear disaster in 1957. The game features a survival story set in a quarantine zone. Players will explore, gather resources, trade, and fight to recover their lost memories, survive in a dangerous world, and solve a mysterious secret.

The new trailer details the game’s core gameplay elements. Players will be able to progress freely in a world without a mission system and will shape their own stories by choosing different paths. However, completing a mission can close another story path. This shows that the game offers a deep story network.

The trailer also details the dangers that players will face. For example, exploding sheep filled with deadly spores and aggressive machines are the main threats in the quarantine zone. In addition, different factions and challenging combat mechanics strengthen the game’s atmosphere.

The game’s survival mechanics are as important as exploration and combat. Players will need to use elements such as resource management, trade, and crafting new weapons or equipment. With its open-world structure and detailed storytelling, Atomfall will be available on Xbox Game Pass in March. The game will be released on March 27, 2025 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
