Philips organised an event for the new Philips Evnia gaming monitors and introduced four different models. The 42” gaming monitor Philips Evnia 42M2N8900 was the most interesting model in the event.

New Philips Evnia gaming monitors introduced

Monitors, one of the most important components of gamers, have always been one of our most important computer parts. Envia gaming monitor series introduced last year enabled Philips to make an assertive entry in this field. The company interprets the products offered in three different series as “Good”, “Better” and “Best”. They defined the series as 3000, 5000 and 7000-8000 series.

Philips Evnia 42M2N8900

42” with OLED panel and Ambiglow Philips Evnia 42M2N8900 is part of the Evnia 8000 series; the top-end category of Evnia and with this series comes with unmatched features for a complete gaming experience. True 10-bit display for smoother colour transitions, OLED display for an impressive, rich contrast, 138 Hz refresh rate for fast-paced viewing, smooth motion, 0.1 ms GtG response time for fast response, DTS enhanced audio and UltraClear 4K UHD (3840×2160) resolution for precise viewing.

The 34” (86.36 cm) Philips Evnia 342M2C8600 focuses on providing users with an immersive experience thanks to its curved UltraWide. With a 175 Hz refresh rate and 0.1 ms GtG response time, the Evnia 34M2C8600 features Ambiglow as well as Display HDR True Black 400 for inky blacks and rich contrast, UltraWide QHD 3440 x 1440 resolution for crystal clear images and 0.1 ms response time for smooth gaming.

The curved monitor is also equipped with a USB-C port and a KVM switch, as well as a height-adjustable stand for versatile, flexible and rich use in and out of gaming.

The most striking feature of the new monitor is its QD OLED panel. This feature combines organic light emitting diode (OLED) panels and Quantum Dot (QD) technology. Philips Evnia 25M2N5200P and 25M2N3200W

From 15 May 2023, two new Evnia monitors, Philips Evnia 25M2N3200W and Philips Evnia 25M2N5200P will be available. With ultra-fast refresh rates of 240 Hz (25M2N3200W) or 280 Hz (25M2N5200P), the monitors are equipped with fast VA and IPS panels with pixel response times as low as 1ms GtG.

Images are free from flicker and ghosting, allowing gamers to let go and enjoy themselves. Combined with low input lag and 0.5ms MPRT fast response, it promises smoother play of fast-paced, twitch-sensitive games.

The 25M2N3200W and 25M2N5200P models are equipped with a fast VA panel or fast IPS panel with 16:9 Full HD resolution and 178/178 wide viewing angles. Both of these monitors are designed to reduce eye strain with Philips LowBlue Mode and Flicker-Free technology.
