New Testing Phase Coming for Battlefield 6

Although official information about Battlefield 6 is limited, developments regarding the game’s multiplayer mode have begun to emerge thanks to DICE’s Battlefield Labs program. The development team announced that it will include more players in the testing process throughout May. Players from North America and Europe will participate first, followed by the Asian region.

Battlefield 6 Testing Process Expands

Battlefield Labs stands out as a special testing program where DICE conducts the game development process with players in the early stages. This testing process, which started with a small group of players in March, will be expanded to a wider audience with new invitations. DICE states that the tests conducted so far have provided significant improvements in areas such as weapon balance, environmental destruction, and player movements.

The studio announced that significant progress has been made, especially in the areas of “low-latency weapon use”, “balance in movements such as crawling, somersaulting and climbing” and “the impact of environmental destruction on the game”. It was stated that in the following process, the focus will be on weapon balance with player feedback and the development of destruction systems.

Although the content of the game is still largely kept secret, some information has come to light through the shares of previous testers. It is estimated that the new Battlefield game will move away from the near-future theme of Battlefield 2042 and return to the concept of modern-era warfare.

The registration form is still active for players who want to join Battlefield Labs. DICE announced that it will also share details about player classes in the coming period. More information about Battlefield 6 is expected to emerge as the development process progresses.
