No Man’s Sky Update Brings Billions in New Features
Hello Games has revamped the game with the “Worlds Part II” update for No Man’s Sky, version 5.5. The update adds trillions of new planets to the game, increasing the variety. These include gas giants, deep ocean water worlds, and densely forested planets. Players will also now encounter higher mountains, deeper canyons, pristine ice worlds, and vast plains.
No Man’s Sky Update Details
The update adds the opportunity to explore deep oceans and depths of several kilometers to make water worlds more exciting. Undersea life is now richer with seahorses and new luminous plants. In addition, water surfaces have been improved; clouds, fog, planets, and nearby flying ships create reflections on the water. Powerful waves make the atmosphere more vibrant.
New planets pose more dangers for players. Geysers, toxic spores, volcanic eruptions, and radioactive plants make exploration more challenging, while familiar environmental events like storms continue to feature. Players can also now start the game in abandoned and uninhabited universes. This option is expected to increase the difficulty level. The update also offers players the opportunity to explore ancient worlds filled with ruins and shed light on the history of ancient civilizations.
Hello Games has improved the game’s visual quality, improved lighting, and added a feature that allows players to auto-sort their inventory. These improvements aim to provide a smoother experience for both beginners and experienced players.
No Man’s Sky has been expanding its player base with regular updates since its launch in 2016. The latest update adds unparalleled depth to the game’s universe, while giving players more content to explore.
