NVIDIA GeForce 566.14 WHQL Driver Released
NVIDIA has released a new driver for GeForce graphics cards, version 566.14 WHQL. This update is specifically optimized for STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. If you plan to play these games, it is recommended to download this new driver to get the best performance.
What’s New with the NVIDIA GeForce 566.14 WHQL Driver
The new GeForce 566.14 WHQL driver not only provides performance improvements in games, but also fixes various bugs. For example, a bug that caused DSR/DLDSR custom resolutions to not appear in some games has been fixed. It also fixed an issue that prevented users from using GFE Freestyle filters in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.
Additionally, a bug that caused cache files to be created even when the “Shader Cache Size” option was set to “disabled” has been fixed. We also fixed an issue that caused higher CPU usage than usual in Bluestacks and Corsair iCUE.
While this release offers performance optimizations for certain games, it doesn’t provide any significant performance boosts for older games. If you are not affected by the above bugs, updating the driver is not mandatory.
