Path of Exile 2 Announces First Race Event Ahead of Major Update

Grinding Gear Games has announced that it will be holding a new race event ahead of the major update for Path of Exile 2. The event will start on March 2nd, and players will have the opportunity to compete in the game’s Solo Self-Found mode to earn rewards. It was also announced that the game’s next major update will be released around March 19th.

Path of Exile 2 Race Event Details

Path of Exile 2’s first race event will be open to both PC and console players. Players will race against the clock to defeat Doryani in Act 3. While the event is not in Hardcore mode, players who die will face a one-minute penalty. There will also be a leaderboard during the races where players can track their rankings in real time.

The event will take place on three different dates:

  • Race: March 2, 22:00 (UTC)
  • Race: March 9, 23:00 (UTC)
  • Race: March 16, 23:00 (UTC)

At the end of these races, the top players in each class will be awarded a unique helmet called the “Demigod’s Virtue”. This special helmet will increase the rarity of all items found. In addition, the fastest player in the race on March 16 will receive an Alienware laptop with a special Path of Exile 2 design.

Grinding Gear Games has announced that Path of Exile 2’s 0.2.0 update will be released around March 19. This update will include fixes to game balance, endgame improvements, reduced ability reselect costs, and map issues. Path of Exile 2’s first race event and upcoming update have created a lot of excitement among players. It will be a busy March for both competitive players and those waiting for new content.
