PlayStation Compatible Halo Game Leaked

New leaks from the Halo universe suggest the series could be making its way to the PlayStation platform. Prominent data miners, who previously shared information about Halo Combat Evolved Remake, Project Ekur, and the new main game, have now revealed that PlayStation-compatible Halo titles are now available in the API. This development suggests that the series’ tradition of being exclusive to Xbox and PC may be breaking.

Is Halo’s PlayStation Journey Beginning?

Grunt.api and RebsGaming, the sources of this new information, have previously leaked accurate Halo content. This time, a “new PlayStation-compatible Halo title” has been spotted on the API. Interestingly, the same title is also listed on the PlayFab system. Because PlayFab is an infrastructure used to manage cross-platform progression, matchmaking, and online services, this development is being interpreted as a sign of potential multi-platform support.

However, another PlayStation-compatible beta title and a new Halo game have been detected in the API. According to the data miner, one of these could be the multiplayer Project Ekur, developed by Certain Affinity. Project Ekur is known to be an independent game developed with Unreal Engine 5, replacing the canceled Project Tatanka (Halo Infinite’s battle royale mode).

RebsGaming states that, in the most optimistic scenario, Halo Combat Evolved Remake, Project Ekur, and the Project Ekur beta could be announced at the Halo World Championship event in October 2025. It is also emphasized that these leaks are not official and are not definitive.

Halo Studios confirmed that more information about the series will be released in 2025, suggesting that the leaks may become clearer in the coming months.
