Project Mugen Renamed Ananta
NetEase Games and Naked Rain have announced that the official name of their free-to-play open-world RPG Project Mugen is Ananta. A new trailer is also scheduled to be released on December 4, 2024 at 6:00 PM PT / 9:00 PM ET.
What Does Ananta Mean?
Ananta offers a variety of features to enhance the player experience. The game takes place on a large open-world map that reflects the vibrant atmosphere of a city. It features a team-based battle system consisting of characters with different characteristics that complement each other. Players can strategically use environmental elements during battles and take various actions by taking advantage of the city terrain to confront monsters.
Each character has a basic movement skill such as parkour, swinging, or wall climbing. Some characters also have unique abilities based on their identities, such as using a special war hammer. Players can also catch and use cars for fast transportation around the city.
Ananta is being developed for PlayStation 5, PC and mobile devices. The game aims to bring a new breath to the open-world RPG genre based on city life, and draws attention with its team-based combat system and the unique abilities of each character.
