Resident Evil: Requiem Will Have 3 Playable Characters
New information is emerging daily ahead of the new trailer for Resident Evil: Requiem, slated for release at Gamescom. It was recently leaked that the game would feature The Last of Us-style combat and vehicle use. Now, a new claim suggests that three different characters will be playable in the game.
Who Will Be Playable in Resident Evil: Requiem?
According to the leaks, Leon, Grace, and Alyssa will be playable in Resident Evil: Requiem. Previously, only Grace Ashcroft’s gameplay footage had been seen. According to the insider known as Dusk Golem, Leon will be one of the main protagonists. Grace’s mother, Alyssa Ashcroft, will also be playable in a limited episode.
Alyssa’s name is particularly noteworthy, as the trailer suggests that the giant creature stalking Grace is actually her mother. This could add a new dimension to the story, both dramatic and terrifying. Thus, Requiem could aim to offer a more emotional connection than previous games in the series.
Leaks also suggest that the game could have a structure similar to the Revelations series. The Revelations games featured multiple characters, each with their own unique perspective. If Requiem continues this tradition, players will have the opportunity to experience events through the eyes of three characters.
Of course, not all of this information has yet been officially confirmed. Capcom will reveal more details with a new trailer on the Gamescom stage. Until then, it’s important to remember that this information is still rumored. Nevertheless, the idea of three playable characters has generated considerable excitement among fans.
