Riot Games’ New MMOFPS Project T Leaked
Riot Games is apparently preparing to expand the Valorant universe. A new leak on social media today revealed the first images from the studio’s long-kept secret MMOFPS project “Project T.” The leaked screenshot suggests the game is in early development and has generated considerable excitement among fans.
Leaked Images Point to a New Project T Set in the Valorant Universe
The leak is based on an image shared by PlayerIGN, a trusted source in the industry. The image, first published by SargeOP_ on X (formerly Twitter), shows an in-game screen believed to be from the new FPS project “Project T.” The image features a bright pink weapon in the hands of the character, while the user interface displays health, armor, and weapon indicators.
According to the image in question, Project T features vibrant colors and a stylized visual language similar to Valorant. However, this time, the game focuses on MMOFPS elements such as “personal base development,” “season system,” and “progression mechanics.” According to the source, the game will take place in a larger-scale universe, unlike the classic Valorant structure, and players will be able to develop their own characters.
According to some leaks, Project T will offer a structure closer to the “extraction shooter” genre than the classic team-based FPS. This suggests an experience where players will gather resources and try to survive on objective-based maps. The game, which is reportedly still in early development, is also described in Riot’s job postings as a “high-profile, stylized FPS project.”
No official statement has yet been released from Riot Games. However, it is known that the studio is developing new games in different universes, such as Valorant, League of Legends, and Project L. If the leaks are accurate, Project T could be Riot’s first foray into the MMOFPS genre and a major milestone in the expansion of the Valorant brand. Fans are now eagerly awaiting Riot’s potential announcement.
