Silent Hill Townfall is Still in Development
Silent Hill Townfall is confirmed to still be in development at No Code in collaboration with Konami and Annapurna Interactive.
New Information about Silent Hill Townfall
Since being revealed a couple of years ago, Silent Hill Townfall was in dormand state for a very long time. On Twitter, developer No Code and co-publisher Annapurna Interactive announced that they are still working on Silent Hill: Townfall together with IP owner Konami. Echoing a shared sentiment, the two accounts posted the same message, saying they “deeply apologize for any concerns” related to the Silent Hill spin off and that the game would “continue to be co-developed” by all three parties involved. In the comments, several fans expressed relief at hearing the news. A reply said, “This is super reassuring news, I still eagerly look forward to this title!” Another user shared their excitement, saying, “Do your best! We cannot wait for this new Silent Hill game!”
Despite there being little to no sneak peeks into Townfall since its reveal and despite the upheaval taking place at Annapurna Interactive’s games division, the Silent Hill spin-off still seems to be on track as planned. Even though the American publisher previously ensured that all ongoing contracts would be honored regardless of the games unit disbanding, the additional confirmation from the two studios removes any possible doubt that may have been bugging fans.
While Silent Hill Townfall is in development, next week Silent Hill 2 Remake will make it’s launch. After years of waiting, fans can finally enjoy the fog in current consoles.
