It was also confirmed once again that the mod will be released in 2025.

Character Development and Enemy Balance in Skyblivion

In the new gameplay video, it was stated that the attribute system, one of the classic features of Oblivion, was brought back but presented with some changes. Now, players will receive a fixed attribute score every time they level up. This change makes the character development system in Oblivion more balanced. In addition, the enemy scaling system will work similarly to Skyrim. However, it was announced that each type of enemy will have different power levels and will progress in the game in accordance with the players’ development.

Skyblivion’s user interface is designed to allow players to easily track all their statistics and the groups they belong to. The publication reported that the Radiant Quest system will not be included in the mod’s initial release, but may be added in the future. In terms of sound design, it was stated that a combination of Oblivion, Skyrim and newly created sound effects will be used. The sound designer of the project team is known as the developer of the popular Skyrim Audio Overhaul mod, which provides great assurance in terms of quality.

The Skyblivion team has once again confirmed that the project will meet with players in 2025. While Oblivion fans are eagerly waiting for this huge project, rumors that Bethesda is working on an official remaster for Oblivion are also drawing attention. However, Skyblivion is sure to make a difference with its fan-made approach and attention to detail.
