Steam Giving One Zombie Game Free
Steam giving away Scheming Through the Zombie Apocalypse: The Beginning for free.
New Free Game from Steam
Steam users are treated to free games on a semi-regular basis, though it’s always hard to predict exactly when the free games will be available. That’s because Steam free game giveaways are typically the result of developers or publishers deciding to give away the games for free, not Steam itself.
The latest free game on Steam is Scheming Through the Zombie Apocalypse: The Beginning. Steam users can claim it now if they’re interested, but they must act by March 18. At that point, Scheming Through the Zombie Apocalypse: The Beginning will revert to its usual price of $4.99.
Those that enjoy Scheming Through the Zombie Apocalypse: The Beginning may want to check out Scheming Through the Zombie Apocalypse Episode 2: Caged. The sequel usually costs $5.99, but it’s discounted to $1.19 until March 20. Steam users can also check out a free demo of the sequel, in case they’re not convinced after playing through the original. These promotions seem to be happening as a way to promote the developer’s new game, Dreadwoods Gatekeeper, which is a first person medieval fantasy where players take on the role of a gatekeeper, as the name suggests.
PC gamers that like getting free games will also want to check out the latest Epic Games Store free games. Until March 20, Mortal Shell is free on the Epic Games Store, with players also able to snag the Anniversary Party Favor pack for World of Warships in the same time.
