Devolver Digital and Croteam have announced the release date of The Talos Principle Reawakened, a remake of the beloved puzzle game. The game, which will be released on April 10, 2025, returns with its philosophical story and challenging puzzles. Redesigned with Unreal Engine 5, this new version offers significant improvements in both visual and content. In addition, gamers can already experience the game through a demo accessible on Steam.

The Talos Principle Reawakened expands on the philosophical and thought-oriented story of the original game, offering players a deeper experience. The redesigned game includes the expansion “Road to Gehenna” and adds more depth to the story with a brand new episode, “In the Beginning”. This new episode tells the story of Alexandra Drennan, who witnessed the first test of the game’s simulation world.

Developed with Unreal Engine 5 technology, the game stands out with its enhanced lighting, detailed environmental design, and modernized gameplay features. In addition to visual innovations, players are also offered a special puzzle editor. This tool allows the creative community to design their own worlds and puzzles.

The Talos Principle Reawakened demo was released to players as part of Steam Next Fest. The demo offers the opportunity to explore the game’s medieval-themed environment, and includes puzzles focusing on basic mechanics such as laser ports, force field disruptors, and pressure plates.
