CD Projekt Warned Cockle About The Witcher
“I’ve said something online before and CD Projekt warned me because I don’t know how true it is,” Cockle said in an interview at MCM Comic Con Birmingham. He added that he thought the rumor was based on statements made by someone who left CD Projekt three years ago.
Cockle said, “The Witcher 4 is a complete mystery to me. I have ideas about how it will be, but I’ve been told they haven’t told anyone what it is,” and emphasized that he doesn’t have any definitive information about the game. This situation has brought up the possibility that Geralt could return as the main character in the game.
CD Projekt confirmed that they are working on The Witcher 4, but has not yet made an official statement about the details of the game. Cockle’s statements increased the uncertainty about this game that fans are eagerly waiting for. It is still unknown whether Geralt’s story will be continued or a completely different adventure will be told.
The Witcher series has achieved great success with video games adapted from Andrzej Sapkowski’s books. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, in particular, has won many awards. It is thought that CD Projekt aims to repeat this success with its new game. However, Doug Cockle’s statements have created new questions about the mystery of The Witcher 4. Players are eagerly waiting for official news from CD Projekt.
