Titan Quest 2 Early Access Delayed

As excitement grows for the second game that Titan Quest fans have been eyeing, an unexpected decision has been shared with players. The early access date of Titan Quest 2, which has been followed step by step since it was first announced, will not take place in the initially announced period. The game’s developer team, Grimlore Games, stated in a statement that they have rethought their plans and taken into account the reactions from the player community.

When Will Titan Quest 2 Come to Early Access?

In the announcement made on the game’s official Steam page, it was announced that the early access plan has now been moved to the summer of 2025. Grimlore Games stated that the main reason behind this decision was the intense competition that would be created by the release of many similar games in the winter months. The developers stated that they were worried that Titan Quest 2 would not receive the attention it deserved in this crowded calendar and made this change for a more suitable launch.

However, it was also announced that the current version of the game is technically sufficient for early access and that positive feedback was received during the closed testing process. While 92% of the players who participated in the gameplay tests were satisfied with the experience, two-thirds of the participants defined themselves as “experts” who are familiar with the series. This shows that the development team managed to reach its target audience.

The data obtained from the testing process revealed that the game’s graphic quality was evaluated with high scores by the players. The visuals received 5.25 out of 6, while the sound design also received similarly positive notes. Comments that Titan Quest 2’s atmosphere and gameplay dynamics were richer than previous games drew attention.

Although the postponement decision was a disappointment for impatient players, Grimlore Games stated that they wanted to offer a stronger game in the long term. With Titan Quest 2 being opened to early access in the summer, it is aimed for players to encounter an experience worthy of the series. The development team will also share the exact release date in the coming period.
