Splinter and Shredder Are Dead, the Turtles Are Stepping into Adulthood, TMNT: Tactical Takedown Announced

In the game’s story, Splinter and Shredder are dead, and as the turtles grow into adults, they’re not only growing up, but also drifting apart. Players will battle the Foot Clan in campaigns focused on each turtle. They’ll need to destroy enemies across 20 levels inspired by classic TMNT games, growing, shrinking, and adding new threats with each round.

TMNT: Tactical Takedown takes an innovative approach to turn-based fighting games. Players will experience a unique combat experience with customizable move sets that will shape each turtle’s playstyle. The game is visually stunning, with a graphic novel-inspired art style, paint splatter effects, figurines, and diorama scenes. The multi-genre soundtrack by award-winning composer RJ Lake further enhances the atmosphere of the game.

Strange Scaffold founder Xalavier Nelson Jr. stated that creating a strong licensed game requires respect for the source material, love for the fans, and a willingness to push the universe in ways that surprise and delight. Paramount Games executive Doug Rosen said: “Working with the Strange Scaffold team has been an incredible experience and we believe Xalavier’s vision will exceed expectations.”
