Two Major Remakes Are In Development For The Final Fantasy Series
A significant claim has been made that will please Final Fantasy fans. According to a reliable source, Square Enix is currently working on remake projects for Final Fantasy 9 and Final Fantasy Tactics. Although no official announcement has been made for either game, the FF9 remake was previously listed in a leaked GeForce Now database in 2021.
Final Fantasy 9 and FF Tactics Are Returning
According to rumors, Final Fantasy 9 could meet players in 2026. Originally released on the PlayStation 1 in 2000, the game was seen as a tribute to the classic Final Fantasy games and received great acclaim. The last Final Fantasy game to feature music by legendary composer Nobuo Uematsu, FF9 holds a special place among fans of the series.
On the other hand, Final Fantasy Tactics was released in 1997 and attracted attention as the first tactical RPG game of the series. The game, directed by Yasumi Matsuno, made a great impact by introducing the world called Ivalice to the Final Fantasy universe.
