Those fans may be disappointed, as Konami has confirmed that Silent Hill f is essentially a standalone game that isn’t intended to be an extension of the original Silent Hill series. In the auto-translation of the tweet, the Silent Hill account explains that Silent Hill f is a “completely new work independent of the series” and that the game is appropriate for anyone that’s interested in it, with no prior knowledge of Silent Hill required.
