World of Warcraft Profession System is Being Renewed
World of Warcraft is making significant changes to the profession system with Patch 11.1: Undermined, which will be released on February 25th. Blizzard will give players the chance to reset their profession specializations and redistribute their knowledge points. Additionally, magical crests will no longer be crafted by artisans, but instead can be purchased from vendors. This update to professions will allow players to develop their characters more flexibly.
World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 Details
With the new update, players will be able to reset their specializations once for each profession. This process can be done separately for the Dragon Isles and Khaz Algar professions. However, during the specialization reset process, all recipes and specialization perks will be reset and knowledge points will be restored. Players will be able to access this feature through NPCs Darla Fluxy and Siben.
Magical Crests will no longer be crafted by artisans. Instead, players will be able to purchase these items from magic item vendors in the Khaz Algar region or from the NPC Syenite in Dornogal. This change aims to make the equipment development process more accessible.
The War Within expansion’s second season will also begin on March 4, along with the 11.1 patch. In the new season, weapon enchantments and some consumables will be strengthened, increasing players’ performance. For example, spells such as Fiery Resolve and Radiant Power will offer significant increases in damage and healing rates.
This update, which will open the Undermine, the underground capital of the goblins, to exploration in World of Warcraft, brings major innovations in terms of both the profession system and in-game balance. Players are eager to adapt to both the new content and these changes to the system.
