Age Verification Coming to Call of Duty Accounts

Activision has implemented a new measure to make the Call of Duty community safer and more organized. All players are now required to add their birthdates to their accounts. This change specifically targets younger users.

Under the new regulation, parental consent is required for accounts of users who display their age. Otherwise, these accounts risk deletion. Activision stated that this step is part of the Call of Duty Code of Conduct.

Players are not required to upload any identification when entering their date of birth. However, this does not mean that identity verification steps will be completely eliminated in the future. Security measures are expected to be increased.
