$20 RPG Is Free on Steam

Popular gaming platform Steam has made everyone happy with a new free game. If you like turn-based RPGs set in dark fantasy universes, Hellslave may be an opportunity not to be missed for you. Normally priced at $20, this three-year-old indie production is currently offered completely free on Steam. Users who add the game to their library by June 16 will have Hellslave permanently. The campaign was launched as part of the Publisher Week celebrations.

Hellslave is Free on Steam

First released in May 2022, Hellslave puts players in the shoes of a character who tries to save the world from the impending invasion of hell by making a deal with demons. In the game, you shape your power by making a pact with one of six different demons, and you advance with spells, skill trees and character customizations by exploring dungeons. Places such as ruined cities, cursed cemeteries and demon-infested ruins also form the basis of this dark atmosphere.

This surprise campaign of the game offers a remarkable opportunity not only to the players but also to the developer Ars Goetia. Because this return of Hellslave coincides with the announcement of Hellslave II: Judgment of the Archon, which will be released in 2026. In the sequel, players who will be in the middle of a new war between angels and demons will encounter a darker story and visually improved content.

Hellslave has received a 77% “mostly positive” evaluation on Steam with approximately 700 user reviews. Although some players find the pace slow, it is clear that it offers a satisfying experience for those who like the gothic atmosphere and deep character system. In addition, this promotion is not a demo; it is offered as a full version and does not include any restrictions.

This free distribution, which will continue until June 16, is a valuable opportunity for both new users who want to try the game and those who want to expand their RPG collection. Once you add the game to your account, you can play it indefinitely.
