GSC Game World has released an extensive 35-minute trailer for the long-awaited Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. The game has been in development for over a decade, and this trailer offers its widest and deepest look yet.
35-Minute Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl Trailer Released
GSC Game World recently announced that the release date of Stalker 2 will be delayed once again. The game’s new release date has been set for November 20, 2024. The delay was announced in a humorously presented trailer. While fans are disappointed that the game has been delayed, there are high expectations that Stalker 2 will deliver a solid post-apocalyptic adventure when it launches.
While Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl is seen as a strong competitor to games like Fallout, the game lacks a “traditional” leveling system. This means that despite some players expecting more RPG-oriented elements, the game retains its core survival elements. Players will have to deal with classic Stalker elements such as inventory management. Furthermore, the game progresses in a similar fashion to Metro Exodus, encouraging exploration to unlock add-ons, weapons and equipment.
Stalker 2 features a dynamic faction system, a large open world map, a variety of side quests and a world full of enemies. Players should be ready to embark on hours of adventure.
