First up, Predecessor, a third-person multiplayer shooter from Omeda Studios, combines shooter action with MOBA strategy. “Built with Unreal Engine 5, it has beautiful visuals and has received a Mostly Positive rating from its players.” In this game, you can choose from more than 35 heroes and fight against your enemies with abilities ranging from shooting through walls to raining rockets.
If first-person games are more your thing, Roswell Ranch might be for you. In this shooter from HELIX Games, you’re tasked with “hiding from a vigilant UFO” by protecting a farmhouse from extraterrestrial threats. Gamers praise the game’s comedic nature, but some are unhappy with the repetitive cutscenes.
For turn-based strategy fans, QuadCom Interactive’s SOF: Enemy from the Future is an excellent option. “Lead the SOF team and defend Earth against an alien invasion!” This game has been compared to X-COM and has received positive reviews, from its graphics to its user interface.
Other notable games include Neon Fever and Xenowars: Set Sail. Beam Boys’ Neon Fever is an arena shooter where accuracy is everything. In Xenowars by Strategeion Studios, you explore a distant alien homeworld and choose between scientists, mutants and soldiers as you try to save Earth.
Finally, BeginnerGames’ Project Zero is a classic shooter that supports up to 16 players per match. You can diversify your FPS experience with modes such as Team Death Match and Capture The Flag.
