60 Minutes of Phantom Blade Zero Gameplay Leaked

Phantom Blade Zero, one of the most eagerly awaited games in the gaming world, is making headlines not with an official announcement, but with a lengthy leaked gameplay video. The 60-minute gameplay footage, posted by YouTube channel GameV, was recorded on a PlayStation 5 Pro and showcases the game’s 4K 60FPS performance. This footage goes far beyond the game’s trailers, giving players a glimpse of the real-time action in detail.

Phantom Blade Zero: Real Gameplay First Appears

Phantom Blade Zero is a next-generation wuxia action RPG developed and published by S-GAME. When the game was first announced, many associated it with the “Souls-like” genre, but the developers have emphatically rejected this description. The gameplay footage reveals a very fast pace, suggesting a hack-and-slash experience akin to Devil May Cry or Ninja Gaiden.

Developed with Unreal Engine 5, the game stands out with its impressive visuals and fluid combat animations. The game’s main character, “Soul,” plays an assassin working for a mysterious organization called The Order. Leaked footage also highlights the variety of enemies, combat mechanics, and atmospheric design.

Phantom Blade Zero is scheduled to release for PlayStation 5 and PC in 2025, but a specific date hasn’t been released yet. The emergence of such an extensive gameplay video online suggests an official reveal is imminent. The Opening Night Live event, which will be held during Gamescom 2025, could be a strong candidate for new information such as a release date.

With its fast-paced action, Chinese martial arts-inspired aesthetic, and dark atmosphere, Phantom Blade Zero is poised to offer a unique experience. The leaked gameplay video already strongly supports this promise and further fuels expectations.
