A Demo Version for Hell Is Us Is On The Way
Developed by Nacon and Rogue Factor, Hell is Us is poised to be one of the most notable slasher games of the year. The game, starring Elias Toufexis, known for his work in the Deus Ex series, is preparing to offer players a brief experience ahead of its release. The game’s official launch date is September 4th.
Hell Is Us Demo to Release on August 12th
The development team announced that the game’s demo will be released on August 12th. This version, which will be available for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, was previously available only on PC as a limited edition. The console version, delayed due to technical constraints, is now available. Performance improvements are also reported compared to the previous PC version.
Hell is Us is set in an isolated country engulfed in war. The official description emphasizes the game’s dark atmosphere with the words, “If war is the closest thing to hell on earth, it is because of humanity’s greatest demons.” This thematic structure aims to present both the destructiveness of war and mysterious supernatural threats.
According to the studio’s statement, the new demo will feature similar content to the previous PC version, but with more technical advancements. It can now be played at 60fps at 4K resolution, and this performance boost will also be available on the PS5. The development team states that they are working to make the experience more fluid and immersive.
Game editors who experienced Hell is Us at Gamescom last year expressed positive impressions of the narrative depth and combat potential. With its blend of human storytelling and supernatural mysteries, Hell is Us looks set to further raise expectations with its pre-September demo release.
