A Huge Marketing Campaign Is On The Way For GTA 6
GTA 6 more than deserves the title of being the most anticipated game in the gaming world. Originally scheduled to be released in the fall of 2025, the game was postponed to May 26, 2026 in recent months. However, Rockstar and Take-Two emphasize that this date is definite. Now, new job postings by the company show that a major promotional campaign is in the preparation stages worldwide.
Rockstar is Establishing a Marketing Team in 12 Countries for GTA 6
According to the postings on Rockstar’s official website, the company has started the hiring process for marketing translation and localization positions through its London office. The list includes important markets such as Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Poland, Russia, China and Spain. This list, which is currently limited to 12 countries, is expected to include new regions in the coming months.
The job description includes tasks such as preparing style guides and translation dictionaries for marketing materials, ensuring that the language is used in context and authentically. It is noteworthy that the positions are limited to 12 months. This detail shows that Rockstar has full confidence in the current release date of May 26, 2026.
Take-Two CEO also previously stated that this delay is only “less than six months” and that they are focusing on polishing the game in the final stages. All this data increases confidence that GTA 6 will be released as planned.
It has not been announced exactly when the marketing campaign will start, but the global launch is expected to accelerate in December 2025 or January 2026. Two trailers have been released so far. As with Rockstar’s previous games, extensive promotions are expected to be made as the release approaches, focusing on gameplay mechanics, open world details, and characters such as Jason and Lucia. All signs indicate that GTA 6 is preparing for the biggest game launch in history.
