Alone in the Dark Sales Are Low
The latest report from Embracer Group has revealed that Alone in the Dark reboot failed financially and keeps not meeting expectations from the classic horror game.

Promoted as a reimagining of the 1992 survival horror game, Alone in the Dark features actors Jodie Comer and David Harbour as lead protagonists working to uncover mysterious happenings at a southern estate. Players must utilize detective skills and unique mechanics to make their way through a creepy manor and solve a disappearance. Fans are mostly happy about game but it seems like Embracer Group expected much from the game.
In spite of positive reception from retro horror fans, Embracer Group’s quarterly report for the fiscal period ending March 31 has revealed that Alone in the Dark performed well below the expectations of executives. Embracer Group confirmed that Alone in the Dark performed lower than expected on sales charts.
Alone in the Dark made it’s job as a bringing back classic horror game to it’s active times. Even though Embracer Group thinks the game underperforming, Alone in the Dark was a modern horror game with it’s mysterious sides. There is currently not certain information about upcoming Alone in the Dark games, but we hope to see more.
