AMD Radeon RX 7650 GRE Introduced
AMD is preparing to attract the attention of gamers with the Radeon RX 7650 GRE graphics card. This model, which was introduced specifically for the Chinese market, is powered by the RDNA 3 architecture and comes with 8 GB of GDDR6 memory. The Radeon RX 7650 GRE, which has attracted attention with its performance, has also managed to attract attention with its price. Although the details are not yet fully clear, it is already being discussed what kind of innovation this new GPU will bring to its segment.
AMD Radeon RX 7650 GRE Features
The Radeon RX 7650 GRE is based on the Navi 33 graphics processor and has 32 compute units and 2,048 stream processors. The GPU offers slightly higher performance compared to the RX 7600 model with a game speed of 2,350 MHz and a boost speed of 2,695 MHz. The card comes with 8 GB of GDDR6 memory and a 128-bit memory bus. Setting the memory speed to 18 Gbps provides 288 GB/s bandwidth.
In terms of power consumption, the Radeon RX 7650 GRE has a total card power (TBP) of 170W. This value is quite close to the 165W TBP of the RX 7600 model. However, this power consumption seems to contribute positively to the performance of the card.
The AMD Radeon RX 7650 GRE was launched in the Chinese market with a price tag of 2,049 RMB (approximately 281 USD). This corresponds to a starting price of approximately 249 USD in the global market. The card is seen to be positioned as a more affordable alternative to the RX 7600 model.
While it is unclear why AMD is only offering this model in the Chinese market, experts think that this is a decision based on regional strategies and demand. The performance and pricing of the Radeon RX 7650 GRE may give AMD an advantage in the competitive market conditions in China.
